This June, I am lacing up my joggers to take on the Healthy Harold Hundred. I’ve committed to covering at least 100km in 30 days...that's 3.3ks a day!
Bullying and violence is a growing issue for kids – in the playground and online. 1 in 4 Australian children are bullied every few weeks, and 1 in 5 kids experience cyberbullying. Schoolyard bullies are 4 times more likely to abuse their partners later in life.

Wednesday 25th May Hi friends, as some of you may know my sweet Benny boy has been victim to some truly horrendous bullying over the past 2 years. He has been king hit, verbally abused, physically abused, emotionally abused on an almost daily basis. Literally just this afternoon he came home from school in tears because of other kids in his class taking advantage of his sweet nature. When is enough enough? I am taking part in this fund-raiser during June to help bring awareness to the situation, a situation where all children should feel safe and secure and free from bullying. My daughter went through the same thing for several years. Last year we had to pull her from her Catholic high school due to the severity of it. She is doing soooo much better now at the new school. But it should never have come to having to change schools. She would come home and lock herself away in her bedroom for hours crying. She was miserable. The bullies need to be dealt with! Rather than just pushed under the rug!
