Squat Squad for Kids: 100 Squats a Day to End Bullying

Monday 22nd Sep

Bullying has no place in our classrooms, playgrounds, or communities.

That’s why we, Hayley and Josh Wright, Youth Workers at Samford State School—have joined forces as Squat Squad for Kids to take on the Healthy Harold “100 Squats a Day” Challenge.

Why We’re Squatting

Every day, thousands of young people experience bullying that chips away at their confidence and wellbeing.
In our roles at Samford, we see firsthand how important it is to create safe spaces where every child feels valued and included.
This challenge is our way of saying enough is enough and showing our students that small, consistent actions can create big change.

The Challenge

For the entire month of October, we’ll each complete 100 squats every single day.
That’s more than 3,000 squats per person—glutes of steel guaranteed!
But more importantly, every squat represents our commitment to standing tall for kindness and respect.

Our Goal: $1000

Together, we’re aiming to raise $1000 for the Healthy Harold organisation, which funds vital anti-bullying education and resources in schools across Australia.
Your donation (big or small) helps deliver programs that teach empathy, resilience, and the power of inclusion.
