This June, I am lacing up my joggers to take on the Healthy Harold Hundred. I’ve committed to covering at least 100km in 30 days...that's 3.3ks a day!

Bullying and violence is a growing issue for kids – in the playground and online. 1 in 4 Australian children are bullied every few weeks, and 1 in 5 kids experience cyberbullying. Schoolyard bullies are 4 times more likely to abuse their partners later in life. 

Please sponsor me today to support my hundred and help Life Education (and of course Healthy Harold!) deliver more respectful relationships programs to kids across Queensland.

I'm taking on the Healthy Harold Hundred this June to help stop bullying. Not only am I doing it because my *boss* is a giraffe and how can you say no to Healthy Harold?!
 
The main reason I’m crazily running 100ks in June (heart please stay strong 🤞) is to raise funds for Life Ed Qld and their bullying prevention and respectful relationships programs. 

1 in 4 Australian school children experience bullying every few weeks. Statistically, you know someone who has been bullied or was a bully. 

I saw bullying at school, I hear stories about it from mates, and saw it at previous workplaces. It sucks, has long lasting and sometimes devastating effects, it's wrong and it's something we all need to call out, educate people about and do what we can to prevent it.
 
If you remember in primary school heading out for a special trip with your classmates to a windowless mobile van with the giraffe, the myth, the legend, Healthy Harold - this is what I'm supporting. 

Like the delivery of health and wellbeing education, empowering children with life skills, helping educators reach students far and wide across QLD - all that good stuff!
