This June, I am lacing up my joggers to take on the Healthy Harold Hundred. I’ve committed to covering at least 100km in 30 days...that's 3.3ks a day!

Bullying and violence is a growing issue for kids – in the playground and online. 1 in 4 Australian children are bullied every few weeks, and 1 in 5 kids experience cyberbullying. Schoolyard bullies are 4 times more likely to abuse their partners later in life.

Bullying is not ok at any age!

Sunday 17th Apr
My son Callum and I have decided to join the Healthy Harold team to help to raise more awareness of bullying. This is a cause close to my heart due to what Callum had to endure last year. Callum started high school last year and was bullied to the point on 3 different occasions I got phone calls from the school stating Callum has tried “hurting” himself due to the bullying, there is nothing worse knowing your sending you child into a place that they are going to be physically and emotionally hurt and there isn’t much you can do to help, so we as parents and members of society need to talk to our children about the effects that this behaviour can have on other’s. We don’t all have to be friends but we need to teach our children to respect each other’s Quirkinizems.
