There’s so many dangers facing kids today and they need your URGENT support...
Because of the rapid rise of social media and the internet, raising children and nurturing them to become healthy and well-adjusted adults has become more complicated than ever before.
More and more kids are using social media on a daily basis, which means they’re being exposed to potentially harmful online content, at risk of bullying or worse, being groomed by predators hiding behind fake profiles.
In addition to the risk of the online world, the rise of vaping and youth smoking is an ever-present and incredibly serious concern. Shockingly, 7.5% of Australian kids between 12 and 17 years of age have reported smoking on a weekly basis.
It’s frightening but there’s something that can be done to help give Queensland children the knowledge and skills they need to spot online dangers and make safe and healthy choices.
The Kids Safe Fund is a program designed by Life Education Queensland to reach as many school aged children as possible – teaching them critical lessons about online and real-world health and safety.
By donating to the Kids Safe Fund, you’ll ensure more kids can participate in education modules created to equip them with the tools they desperately need.
Together, we hold the keys to a safer and healthier future for Queensland kids. But we NEED your help.
Please donate today.

Online threats
Predators hiding behind fake social media profiles are a constant threat to the health and well-being of children. 1-in-4 children aged 8-12 have experienced unwanted online contact or content.
Vaping
Vaping is on the rise amongst youth. In 2018, under 1% of 14-17 year-olds had reported vaping. Shockingly, in 2023 this number has jumped to 14%!
Bullying
70% of kids aged 12-13 experience bullying throughout the year. While 46% of kids who experience bullying are likely to engage in bullying-like behaviours against another child.
